DCSD leaders were recognized among nominees from all 17 school districts across Nevada at this year’s Nevada Association of School Boards Annual Conference in Reno this past weekend.

Since our initial announcement, we’ve learned that the bats inside the District Office building have been identified as Mexican Freetail bats, a protected species.

PHES PTO is hosting a Carnival night. Come on out and enjoy some games, a silent auction, food and fun! This will be an evening to remember!

If you have always dreamed of being a Superhero - April 28th is the day! PHES is calling all Superheros! 

Thanks to our incredible community and business vendors, we raised $4,260.91 to support students in need.

PHES is taking over the Tahoe Night Monsters for one game! Ticket sales will greatly help PHES raise funds towards fields trips, assemblies, class and school wish lists.  

PHES Student Council has declared a money war! All classes must try to raise as much money as possible - competing to be the top class! All proceeds will be donated to a local Senior Center. 

We are celebrating books and cultivating a love of reading! NV Reading Week is March 3rd - 7th and there are a few ways PHES is celebrating the week.

It's that time of year again for Candy Grams - buy someone a candy gram to sprinkle some kindness, to show someone you care and or that you appreciate them! Below you can see the schedule of when candy grams will be sold here at the school.

PHES is going back to the 80s! Join us as we travel back in time and celebrate the music of the 80s. The performance is split into two days, Grades K-2nd will perform on Thursday, 1/23 at 2pm. Grades 3-5 will perform on Friday, 1/24 at 2pm. Hope to see you there!
