    Welcome to the PHES Library Media Center! 

    Vision

    The Pinon Hills School Library Media Program has an overall goal to promote and provide an environment that encourages a love for reading, development of literacy skills, and lifelong learning. The library media center promotes an appreciation for literature, creative thinking, and Mighty Mustang expected behavior: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe, Be Ready to Learn, and Be Kind!

    I am so excited to share books, talk about books and read books with the students. Reading can take you to so many places and it's fun to inspire current and new readers with new places and genres.

    Mission

    The mission of the Pinon Hills Elementary School Library Media Center is to enable students to become creators of information, and lifelong critical thinkers. The Library Media Center is a resource center that will collaborate with teachers in order to complement and support the school curriculum, in addition to implementing literacy instruction, and accurately represent our community!
