Garden/Atrium
PHES PTO is in the process of revamping the school garden. We have big and exciting plans for the garden this spring that include installing a GREENHOUSE for the kids to plant in! We have teamed with RootEd Reno, a non-profit who’s mission is to empower local communities to bring greenhouses to K-12 Schools. They have generously offered to help PHES using a grant they have received to build an 8x24 foot greenhouse to be installed in our current garden plot area. We are asking for help from our PHES families, corporate sponsors and community to raise the funds needed for the remainder of the project. You can donate directly to the fund by visiting the RootEd website. We are excited to reach our goal so no amount is too small to donate and every little bit will help to make this a reality!
Thank you to all of the volunteers from Common Ground Church and PHES families who worked so hard on Sunday to give our school garden and atrium a much needed make over! The weeds are gone, garden boxes are uncovered, and the soil is ready for planting come springtime! Your hours of time and service are greatly appreciated! Thank You!
